| Jasper is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a double major in Government and International Studies(GINT) and Marketing. He also has a minor in Theater and Speech. Dr. Watson went on to graduate from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina with a Masters of Divinity. Jasper earned his Doctorate of Ministry at the Theological School of Drew University. Dr. Watson was also a participant and speaker at the 20th Anniversary of the Oxford Round Table, Oxford University, England.

Dr. Watson was a 2008 participant and presenter at the 20th Anniversary of the Oxford Round Table at Oxford University, England. Dr. Watson presented a paper entitled The Absence of Moderation Theory at Oxford Union.
Dr. Watson has traveled several times to the Country of Belize to help strengthen its churches and communities with a variety of construction teams and ministries. Dr. Watson was the first professor of Homiletics and New Testament at the Baptist Bible School of Belize.
